Signature Garden Rooms is the next chapter of AMR Log Cabins, started by our founder Alan in 2011 at Klondyke Garden Centre in Falkirk. Same family values, same standard of workmanship, now designing complete garden rooms, bespoke living spaces and outdoor buildings across Scotland.

Our Story

Signature Garden Rooms was built on a simple foundation: our founder Alan's belief that every garden deserves a space that's built properly, built to last, and built around the people who'll use it. Alan started this business back in 2011, working out of Klondyke Garden Centre in Falkirk with a straightforward promise, quality timber buildings, honest advice, and a job done right first time. That promise became the backbone of everything we do, and it's the same promise we stand behind today.

For over a decade, we grew that business, known then as AMR Log Cabins, into one of Central Scotland's most trusted names for bespoke log cabins, garden buildings and outdoor spaces. Along the way, we installed hundreds of cabins, garden rooms and garden buildings across Scotland, and built relationships with customers that lasted well beyond the final fitting.

Why we've rebranded

As the business has grown, so has our ambition. We're no longer just building log cabins, we're designing complete garden rooms, bespoke living spaces, and outdoor buildings that go far beyond a standard cabin. Signature Garden Rooms is the next chapter of what Alan started: the same family values and the same standard of workmanship, now under a brand identity that properly reflects the quality of what we build and where we're headed.

Over the past year, we've worked with business mentors to help sharpen our direction and push this business forward with real intent. We know a rebrand carries sentimental weight when it's your dad's name behind the business, and we don't take that lightly. But we're confident that Alan would back this move without hesitation. Moving forward, building our own brand identity, and aiming higher is exactly the kind of progress he'd want for this business. This rebrand isn't a step away from where we came from, it's what that foundation was always built to grow into.

What we want to be known for

Above everything else, we want to be known for one thing: building the best garden rooms on the market. Not the cheapest, not the flashiest marketing, the best built, best finished, and best supported from your first enquiry through to years after installation. Every product we offer, from garden rooms and log cabins to glamping pods, saunas and bespoke design work, is held to that same standard.

We're a Scotland-wide business, still rooted at Klondyke Garden Centre in Falkirk, still family-run, and still driven by the same principle Alan started with: build it properly, and the reputation takes care of itself.
