A four-person wood-fired hot tub sized for smaller gardens, chrome-jet finish, thermowood shell, same 90-minute heat-up as the Grand. Request Your Estimate 07367 086350From £5,495 · Delivered & installed Overview ## Benas Hot Tub. The Benas is the tub we recommend when the Aiste Grand is one size too big. Same thermowood shell, same wood-fired stove, same GRP liner, but at 1.8m diameter it drops into gardens where the Grand would eat the lawn. It seats four adults in genuine comfort (or two adults and three kids) and shares the Aiste's 90-minute heat-up and drain-and-refill maintenance cycle. Detailing is a step up: chrome-finished internal jet trim, black stove door, and a matt-black flue as standard. It's the tub we install most often in Edinburgh terraces, Falkirk new-builds and Fife holiday lets, the properties where a Grand's 2.15m footprint won't fit through the side gate but the client still wants a proper wood-fired soak, not a cheap acrylic drop-in. Key features ## What makes it different. ### 4-adult capacity 1.8m internal diameter, four adults sit comfortably; five at a squeeze. Ideal family tub. ### Fits through 900mm side gates External diameter under 2m, clears standard urban side accesses that a Grand cannot. ### Chrome jet detailing Chrome-finished internal jet ring, black stove door, matt-black flue, a more contemporary look than natural stainless. ### Wood-fired, off-grid Same submerged marine-grade stainless stove as the Aiste Grand. No pumps, no mains, no running electricity. ### 90-minute heat-up Cold to soak temperature in ~90 minutes on around 7kg of dry hardwood. ### 10-year shell warranty Same structural warranty as the Grand, built in the same Falkirk workshop. The Benas is the answer to the most common install objection we hear: 'the tub sounds great but there's no way we're getting one down the side of the house.' At 1.95m external it clears a standard 2m side gate on a two-man carry with straps. Running costs are indistinguishable from the Grand, a little less wood per heat-up because there's less water. Expect £3–£5 of kiln-dried hardwood per session. The chrome jet trim is the detail owners notice first when they sit in it. It's not for looks, it stops the natural convection inlets scaling up with hard-water deposits, which is a real problem in Falkirk and central Fife postcodes. Best for ## Who typically buys this one. - Urban and terraced gardens with restricted side access - Couples and families of 2–4 - Airbnb hosts where the tub is a photographed hero shot (chrome detail photographs beautifully) - Buyers on tighter budgets who won't compromise on wood-fired heat Real installations ## Benas Hot Tub in Scottish gardens. How is the Benas different from the Aiste Grand?Same construction and same stove, in a smaller 1.8m internal diameter shell. The Benas seats four comfortably (vs six for the Grand), uses ~20% less wood per heat-up, and fits through a 900mm side gate. It also has chrome-finished internal jet trim as standard. Will it fit through my side gate? Can four adults really fit? Does it heat as quickly as the Grand? What maintenance does it need? What's the delivery lead time? Do you take away my old tub?
