Benas Hot Tub.
The Benas is the tub we recommend when the Aiste Grand is one size too big. Same thermowood shell, same wood-fired stove, same GRP liner, but at 1.8m diameter it drops into gardens where the Grand would eat the lawn.
It seats four adults in genuine comfort (or two adults and three kids) and shares the Aiste's 90-minute heat-up and drain-and-refill maintenance cycle. Detailing is a step up: chrome-finished internal jet trim, black stove door, and a matt-black flue as standard.
It's the tub we install most often in Edinburgh terraces, Falkirk new-builds and Fife holiday lets, the properties where a Grand's 2.15m footprint won't fit through the side gate but the client still wants a proper wood-fired soak, not a cheap acrylic drop-in.

Living with it
How it actually works day to day.
The Benas is the answer to the most common install objection we hear: 'the tub sounds great but there's no way we're getting one down the side of the house.' At 1.95m external it clears a standard 2m side gate on a two-man carry with straps.
Running costs are indistinguishable from the Grand, a little less wood per heat-up because there's less water. Expect £3–£5 of kiln-dried hardwood per session.
The chrome jet trim is the detail owners notice first when they sit in it. It's not for looks, it stops the natural convection inlets scaling up with hard-water deposits, which is a real problem in Falkirk and central Fife postcodes.
