Joris Grand Barrel Sauna.
The Joris Grand is the brightest expression of our barrel-sauna range, a six-person barrel in a soft white-oiled Nordic finish that photographs beautifully in coastal and modern-white garden schemes.
Construction is identical to the Jonas Grand: same twin-tier hemlock benches, same panoramic glass end wall, same 9kW Harvia heater, same 25-minute warm-up. What changes is the exterior, a UV-stable white pigmented oil that soaks into the thermowood rather than sitting on top.
It's a specification choice for owners who want the sauna to sit into the garden rather than dominate it, perfect against pale render, whitewashed stone, and pale-planked decking.

Living with it
How it actually works day to day.
The white finish is UV-stable and saturating, it won't yellow or peel like a topcoat paint. Refresh coats are needed every 2–3 seasons in a South-facing garden to keep the crispness; sheltered installs go longer.
In practice the Joris feels lighter and more contemporary than the ebony or teak Jonas. It's the specification we recommend to clients working with a garden designer who wants the sauna to recede into the landscaping.
