A six-person barrel sauna in a light Scandinavian white-oiled finish, the same construction as the Jonas Grand in a brighter, contemporary look. Request Your Estimate 07367 086350From £9,495 · Delivered & installed Overview ## Joris Grand Barrel Sauna. The Joris Grand is the brightest expression of our barrel-sauna range, a six-person barrel in a soft white-oiled Nordic finish that photographs beautifully in coastal and modern-white garden schemes. Construction is identical to the Jonas Grand: same twin-tier hemlock benches, same panoramic glass end wall, same 9kW Harvia heater, same 25-minute warm-up. What changes is the exterior, a UV-stable white pigmented oil that soaks into the thermowood rather than sitting on top. It's a specification choice for owners who want the sauna to sit into the garden rather than dominate it, perfect against pale render, whitewashed stone, and pale-planked decking. Key features ## What makes it different. ### 6-person twin-tier bench Same as the Jonas Grand, six adults comfortably on two-tier hemlock benches. ### White Nordic-oiled exterior UV-stable pigmented oil in soft matte white. Saturates the timber; won't peel or flake. ### Harvia 9kW electric heater Finnish-made with rock cradle and digital control. ### Panoramic glass front Full-height toughened glass end wall, becomes a garden lantern at night. ### Hemlock interior Knot-free western hemlock throughout, benches, backrests, floor duckboards and wall lining. ### 10-year timber warranty Structural warranty on the thermowood shell and interior hemlock. The white finish is UV-stable and saturating, it won't yellow or peel like a topcoat paint. Refresh coats are needed every 2–3 seasons in a South-facing garden to keep the crispness; sheltered installs go longer. In practice the Joris feels lighter and more contemporary than the ebony or teak Jonas. It's the specification we recommend to clients working with a garden designer who wants the sauna to recede into the landscaping. Everything you can't see, heater, benches, glass, controls, warranty, is identical to the Jonas Grand. Best for ## Who typically buys this one. - Coastal, modern-white or Scandinavian garden schemes - Buyers wanting six-person capacity in a lighter aesthetic - New-build gardens with pale rendered walls and pale timber decking - Owners happy to refresh the finish every 2–3 seasons Real installations ## Joris Grand in Scottish gardens. Every photograph on this page is a genuine Signature Garden Rooms installation. Frequently asked ## Straight answers. If your question isn't listed, call Ryan on 07367 086350. How is the Joris different from the Jonas Grand?Only the exterior finish. Joris is a UV-stable white-pigmented oil on thermowood spruce. Jonas Grand comes in Shou Sugi Ban ebony (black) or teak-oiled (honey). Interior, heater, glass, benches and warranty are identical. Will the white stay white? Does it need 3-phase power? How long does it take to heat up? What's the space required? Do I need planning permission? What's the warranty? Can I upgrade to a wood-fired heater?
